The Urban Abbey is happy to serve coffee from The Beansmith, a local roaster specializing in ethically traded, artisan roasted beans. We share in The Beansmith’s commitment to supporting local and global economies and missions.
We also have a wide variety of teas from Tea Forté. Tea Forté is committed to social responsibility, sustainability and the well-being of others, and holds true to this by providing fair trade teas, using recyclable and low-impact packaging, and through partnerships with various non-profits.
Have a sweet tooth? We have treats for you! Either a homemade treat from our cafe or a chocolate bar from Equal Exchange, satisfy your sweet tooth with a conscience. Equal Exchange works with small farmers and guarantees their products be fairly traded. And remember, 10 percent of all profits from our cafe go to our community partner of the month!
